CarStudio, innovation platform created by Mobivia, launches its second call for projects. His mission ? Identify tomorrow’s unicorns that will meet the needs of customers of the group’s banners.
What is the common point between ATU, Auto5, Carter-Cash, Midas and Norauto? Being part of Mobivia, of course, but also facing three major challenges. Three challenges related to technology, through connected vehicles, to use via the rise of rental formulas that favor services and finally to the energy transition. These levers now guide the retailers’ strategy and reinforce their desire to evolve from maintenance specialists to service operators.
It is precisely to support its five brands in this strategic turning point that Mobivia created in 2016 CarStudio, innovation platform complementary to the incubator Via ID. Its mission is to support 360-degree start-ups in their relationship with Mobivia, from investment to partnerships, through R & D and incubation. But also, to open my doors to me more than 2,000 points of contact of customers of the signs, such as laboratories for these young companies in search of fields of experimentation. Targeted start-ups, those able to offer answers to consumer expectations via new services (home intervention, personalization) or new technologies (augmented reality, connectivity …)
A new promotion made up of intra and entrepreneurs
After a first promotion, CarStudio reiterates the experience by launching a second call for projects, aiming, this time, at the same time the entrepreneurs, but also the intrapreneurs, in order to highlight the ideas that could have been born within of the Mobivia group. New this year: to facilitate the process for entrepreneurs, CarSutdio and the ACF AutoTech Grand Prix are joining forces to propose a joint application to start-ups wishing to be incubated by the Mobivia brand’s own autotech accelerator. in the competition.
So, there is only a little more than 15 days left for the start-up who would like to try the adventure within the CarStudio innovation platform to register on the dedicated online platform (www.car.studio/incubation) . After the closing of the registrations on December 15, 2019, a jury of professionals from Mobivia will carry out a pre-selection of start-ups on December 20, which will participate in Innov’Action, an internal creation to identify future incubated start-ups. Finally, mid-January, the lucky ones will finally be identified. The key is a seven-week incubation period during which the young shoots benefit from a CarStudio accompaniment, before a final pitch that will take place on April 28th.
