Until now vice president of the PSA group in charge of human resources, Xavier Chéreau is promoted to the presidency of the supervisory board of the brand in the blitz.
It’s moving at the head of Opel. Chaired since 2017 and the acquisition of the brand by the PSA group by Carlos Tavares , the supervisory board of the Rüsselsheim firm will now be headed by Xavier Chéreau. The latter will work hand in hand with Michael Lohscheller , general manager of Opel, promoted last July to the board of PSA.
Graduate of a third cycle of the IEP Paris, Xavier Chéreau joined the tricolor group in 1994. After being entrusted with the human resources and social relations sites Poissy and Trémery, he carried, between 2003 and 2006, diversity and gender equality policies as well as the global CSR framework agreement (Corporate Social Responsibility). Since 2015, he has held the position of Vice President in charge of Human Resources.
