Working directly with the potential customer is the right approach. This is the method adopted by the forgotten company SAAB.

It has created a mobile application in which paid advisors can register. Registration costs 3,000 euros. After that, the user becomes an equal participant in the process of development of a new car.
As electric cars are a new trend now, users proposed this concept in the application from SAAB.

In fact, the founders of Sono Motors Laurin Hahn and Jonah Christians themselves were thinking about an electric car. Only in their vision it had to be a car not with a battery, but solar-powered.
Other designers’ versions already used solar panels on the car body. Often they were placed on the roof. But Laurin Hahn and Jonah Christians went further and glued them all over the car.
Externally the car looks at the level of cheap Chinese cars. But there is something to be surprised about inside. In fact, the function of saloon filter is entrusted to natural moss.
And also, SAAB offers public ownership of electric cars of Sion line for all paying subscribers.

More on that topic:

The founders of the new Sono Motors company, Jonah Christians and Laurin Hahn, are going to launch a new Sion electric car and have developed prototypes of it soon. They plan to produce the model at the plant of the defunct SAAB.

The concept car Sono Motors in the body of a minivan was very interesting. One of the components of the novelty are solar cells, located on the roof, hood, wings and doors.

The innovation is that these panels are made of monocrystalline silicon and are needed to synthesize scattered light rays at angles of incidence of up to 70 degrees.

On one power reserve Sono electric car travels no more than 34 km, then it needs a socket. To date, the founders of the brand managed to test a number of prototypes in several European countries, but do not know yet what the drive and where to be located asynchronous three-phase electric motor with an output of 161 hp. So far, the car is front-wheel-drive and runs on a unit from the BMW i3.

The interior of Sono Sion is interesting. To surprise customers, the authors of the project equipped the front panel with real swamp moss, which acts as a filter in the cabin.

It should be on the market in two years, and the company wants to mass-produce it together at the former SAAB factory, which stopped its activities back in 2012. Even General Motors did not save it, and since that time, this place has been considered very unreliable for car assembly.
