The electric version of the van sees its price fall by 21%, starting from now to 54,880 euros HT. An essential effort for a version sold in France to only 14 copies in 2019.
Like its MAN e-TGE , its cousin, the Volkswagen e-Crafter benefits from a substantial drop in its price. The large 100% electric van is now displayed from 54,880 euros excluding tax, which is equivalent to a discount of more than 21% compared to its introductory price (69,500 euros excluding tax).
This operation, which also concerned e-Golf and e-Up! within the Volkswagen brand, aims to take off the sales of the zero emission utility. These are limited to 14 units in France since January 2019. This boost is only financial, the technical characteristics of the e-Crafter remain unchanged.
The van is here equipped with a battery whose capacity of 35.8 kWh allows autonomy in NEDC cycle of 173 kilometers. Its 136 hp engine allows it to reach a maximum speed voluntarily limited to 90 km / h. In terms of capacity, the e-Crafter, which is available in the L3H3 version, has a load capacity of 10.7 m3 and a payload ranging from 975 (gross weight of 3,500 kg) to 1,720 kg (gross weight of 4,250 kg).
